Verla's Potato Soup


2 Large Potatoes
Cook until soft and mash. Retain water.

Melt 1 stick butter.
Add 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
Add 5 c. milk
Stir constantly. Then stir in potatoes.
