Texas Sheet Cake


Bring to boil:
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
4 T. cocoa

Add to:
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 t. salt

Beat in:
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 t. soda

Pour into greased 15 X 10 jelly roll pan. Bake 20 min. at 400.

Start icing about 5 minutes before cake is done.

Icing:
Bring to boil: 1 stick butter
4 T. cocoa
6 T. milk
Add: 1 lb. conf. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Spread on hot cake.
